Today was a BIG day for some very special babies at Haseya’s!! 🥹❤️

Poseidon, Peanut, Butter, and one little kitty named Poppi (not pictured) officially left Louisiana today and took to the skies for a chance at a beautiful new beginning!! ✈️🐶🐱

We want to give a HUGE thank you to BISSELL Pet Foundation and all of their incredible partners for continuing to help us find opportunities and placements for our dogs. The work y’all do behind the scenes to help rescues like ours means more than you’ll ever know. Every single dog that gets this opportunity is one more life changed, and one more kennel opened for another dog who desperately needs us. ❤️

A special thank you to Lisa Primeaux for getting up this morning and hauling all of our precious cargo to Baton Rouge! We appreciate you more than you know!!

Y’ALL. THOSE ARE THREE HELL OF SOME WOMEN!!! 💪😂

That dude is HUGE!!! I’m pretty sure they needed a forklift, a prayer, and a chiropractor appointment after hauling his big ol’ self around in that crate! 🤣🤣 I don’t know what they’re feeding these women, but I need some of it!!!

All jokes aside, seeing these babies leave is always bittersweet. We love them, we worry about them, and we get attached to every single one. But knowing they’re heading toward a future filled with love, safety, and opportunities makes every bit of the hard work worth it.

This is what rescue is supposed to look like. Rescues, organizations, transporters, and volunteers working TOGETHER to save lives. ❤️

💔 SCRAPPER. 💔

How do I even begin to write this post?

Because the truth is… Scrapper has been waiting over 1,300 days.

And y’all, he is SUCH a good boy. 🥹

Just look at that face. That smile. That goofy little tongue. Scrapper still has so much love left to give, and he deserves so much more than a shelter life.

He deserves a person who looks at him and says, “You’re finally home.”

🐾 Meet Scrapper:
❤️ Around 60 pounds
❤️ Adoption fee waived
❤️ Needs to be the only animal in the home
❤️ Best with older kids
❤️ Would love a home with a yard
❤️ Deserves all the comfort—AC, a soft bed, and a family of his own

This boy has spent far too long overlooked, and I refuse to believe that nobody out there is meant for him.

There HAS to be someone who wants a loyal companion.
Someone who understands that the long-stay dogs are often the ones who love the hardest.
Someone who sees Scrapper and knows he is worth it.

Because he is. He absolutely is. ❤️

🩷🐾 BARBARA, BARBARA, BARBARA!!! WHERE IS YOUR FOREVER FAMILY?! 🐾🩷

Y’all, LOOK AT THAT SMILE!!! 😭❤️

This is Barbara. And if you could see this sweet girl’s heart the way we do, you’d understand why she deserves the WHOLE WORLD. 🥹

Barbara didn’t exactly come to us looking like a beauty queen. She came to us suffering from severe demodex mange, with her skin in terrible condition and so much of her beautiful coat missing.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Barbara also tested high positive for heartworms. 💔

But you know what?

NOT ONE BIT OF THAT HAS STOPPED THIS GIRL FROM SMILING! ❤️

Look at her! Sitting there in her little orange bandana, tongue hanging out, smiling like she doesn’t have a care in the world!

Barbara doesn’t know she’s had a rough start. She doesn’t look in the mirror and wonder why her hair is missing. She doesn’t care that she doesn’t look like the picture-perfect dogs people scroll past every day.

She just wants to be loved. 🥹

Her heartworm treatment has already been started, and we’re working on getting this beautiful girl healthy.

And underneath all those skin problems and everything her little body has been through is a dog who is SO MUCH MORE than her medical history.

I wish people could see dogs the way we see them.

Not for their missing hair.
Not for their medical problems.
Not for what they look like today.

But for who they are and who they can become with a little love and a second chance. ❤️
We would absolutely LOVE to find Barbara a forever family who will love her through her healing journey and every beautiful day that comes afterward. Her ongoing medical care and treatment needs will be discussed with potential adopters.

🚨 WANTED: ONE VERY SPECIAL HUMAN TO FOSTER A 10-FOOT-TALL DROOL MONSTER. 🚨🤣💦

HEY Y’ALLLLLL!!! 👋

Anybody looking for a roommate who contributes absolutely NOTHING financially, drools on EVERYTHING, has zero concept of personal space, and believes that whatever he wants, he should have IMMEDIATELY?! 😂

WELL, HAVE WE GOT A MAN FOR YOU!!!

Meet HAVOC. 🐾

Havoc is approximately 10 feet tall (give or take 7 feet), produces enough drool to fill a swimming pool, and has officially reached the age where he believes the entire world should revolve around HIM. 👑

And quite frankly, after everything this old man has been through, WE AGREE. 🤷‍♀️😂

But underneath all that drool, those big ol’ jowls, and his demanding personality is an old man who desperately needs somewhere soft to land. 💔

Havoc came to us in absolutely heartbreaking condition. Severely emaciated, covered in fleas and sores, with painful eye problems and SEVERE heartworm disease.

His poor body has been through HELL.

And as much as we love this giant, slobbery, demanding dinosaur, A SHELTER IS NO PLACE FOR A SICK OLD MAN. 😭

He doesn’t need the stress of barking dogs, concrete floors, and shelter life.

He needs a couch. A comfy bed. A human to boss around. Someone who won’t mind wiping drool off the walls, their pants, their furniture, and possibly their ceiling. 💦😂

Most importantly, he needs somewhere quiet to rest while we work on getting him healthy.

❤️ HAVOC NEEDS A MEDICAL FOSTER! ❤️

Haseya’s will coordinate his veterinary care and medical treatment. He just needs someone willing to give him the peace, patience, and love he deserves while he heals.

He’s not asking for much.

Just your house, your furniture, your undivided attention, and complete control of your daily schedule.

THAT’S IT. VERY LOW MAINTENANCE. 🤣🤣

But seriously, y’all. This big, ridiculous, drooly old man has already suffered enough.

We don’t know how many years Havoc has left, but we DO know he deserves to spend them being loved, spoiled, and comfortable. 💔

Please help us find this walking slobber factory a foster home.

🚨🐾 PLEASE WELCOME OUR NEWEST EMPLOYEE, MIKEY! 💻😂

Due to being severely understaffed, we’ve officially started putting the dogs to work. 🤣

Mikey has taken over the receptionist position at Haseya’s, and let me tell y’all… this boy is HIGHLY qualified! 👏

✅ Fully trained in computer operations 💻
✅ Specializes in entering and updating medical records 🩺
✅ Excellent customer service skills
✅ Greets everyone with a smile and unsolicited kisses 💋
✅ Willing to work overtime for treats
✅ Has never called in sick
✅ Zero complaints from management (so far)

His typing speed is approximately 3 words per hour, and somehow every medical record now says “GOOD BOY NEEDS SNACKS.” 😂

We did catch him trying to order 47 bags of treats on Amazon using the rescue’s credit card, but HR has decided to give him a verbal warning. 🙄🤣

Unfortunately, Mikey has absolutely NO concept of personal space, frequently falls asleep on the job, and demands to be held during staff meetings.

His annual performance review? 15/10. EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR! 🏆🐾

Now, if someone would just ADOPT this hardworking young man so he can retire from his demanding office career and become a full-time couch potato! 🥹❤️

Who would trust Mikey to handle their paperwork?! 😂👇

Meet BRAMBLE, our approximately 4-year-old Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix), and let me tell you, this little guy is a whole LOT of personality packed into one little body!

Bramble is the definition of a BUNDLE OF JOY! 🥹

He’s happy, he’s silly, he’s affectionate, and he has one of those personalities that just makes you smile the second you meet him!

And can we PLEASE talk about that FACE?! 😂 That goofy grin, that little tongue, and those eyes! How could anyone possibly resist?!

Bramble doesn’t need much to be happy. Just some love, some attention, a family to call his own, and someone who appreciates a little dog with a BIG personality. ❤️
