Krewe De Jewels The Krewe Founded in May 2024 in honor of Mardi Gras and my best friend Julie Dupuis whom passed away in 2023. Her legacy will live on.

We will have an annual Mardi Gras Ball with our King Phillip and Queen Julie. The name Krewe De Jewels came from one of the Founder's Richard Dupuis aka Pop in loving memory of his wife Julie Ann Stepp Dupuis while talking to Donny. Julie has one son Robert Wheaton along with his wife Bree Wheaton and her future grandson. Our other founder and Owner of the Krewe is Donny Miller . Julie and Donny h

ave been best friends since the first time he met Julie and pop along with his wife Tiffney Miller while attending a Mardi Gras ball in Lafayette, La thanks to Jackie Miller for inviting as she was the incoming queen of the Krewe at the time. Donny is also the President of the Krewe. Our love for Mardi Gras goes back several years. Our Co-Founder and Vice President is Harley LeBlanc. She has helped with getting this Krewe underway and shares the same values as such as having a organization and Krewe where everyone is seen, heard and participate in something that is so much more than owning or serving on the board of Directors. Our Krewe Secretary is none other than Tiffney Miller. Her words were you lead Donny I will follow you because we all loved Julie. Our Krewe Treasurer is none other than Courtney Richard. She is such an amazing person to be around. Courtney also shares the love for Mardi Gras like all of us. She is also one of Julie's friends. Family runs deep in our Krewe. In anything there may have things that go wrong but as a Krewe we will work to make it right that way everyone will enjoy this Mardi Gras Krewe. I know Julie would be smiling down on us knowing we are keeping her love of Mardi Gras alive and leaving a Legacy for future generations.

Today we announced the passing of our dear cousin Eileen. to know her is to absolutely love her. She has supported our Krewe along with her husband and family since day one. Showing up for our balls and cook-off anything that our Krewe came together. Let's honor her today as her husband and family begin the journey of her being in the arms of Jesus.
