ssence of greatness within themselves and within their communities by creating gateways for social, emotional, physical, financial & mental task. To strengthen and broaden their dreams and aspirations. We are a Christian organization focused on bringing all youth and young adults together (Regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background) with positive leadership assisting them to be the change, by fostering excellence in education, health and social well-being, working on the whole person. Spread Some Love Youth Activism and Enlightenment Organization was founded by 10-year-old Amiyah Jones-Settle in 2020. Amiyah noticed the problems going on in the world and in the community getting worse. She had a desire to do something, working with Ms. Tekiya Jones - special education educator, Cheerleader coach, Mental Health Specialist, Individualized Education Program Specialist, with a focus on Adolescents Psychology, and Ms. Jones -Retired Health and Physical Education Teacher, Girls middle school basketball coach, Girls and Boys middle school track coach, Girls middle school volleyball coach & Recreational Therapist. Together they spoke with Mayor Robichaux and Police Chief Stelly, after explaining the desire for bringing our community and surrounding communities together for the strengthening of the youth in a positive way, with the hope that the youth and young adults will be the change, and growth of the communities by working together. The city of Rayne agreed to sponsor the Spread Some Love Youth rally given by Spread Some Love Youth Activism and Enlightenment Organization as a yearly event. Last year S.T.E.P. by S.T.E.P. PROJECT of Crowley (Mr. Vernon Martin) joined them as a sponsor. As we get back to our new normal the youth and young adults will be a big part of shaping our communities and world. It is our purpose to assist them in the best way possible.
