--The Raymore Historical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1994, The objectives in operating its museum, library and archives are to collect, preserve, study, interpret and exhibit significant materials relating to Raymore and secondarily to the County of Cass and to provide educational services for the purpose of increasing and enriching public knowledge.

ociety Newsletter is published four times a year. Articles of historical interest are gratefully accepted from the membership.

--Publications of historical interest are available for use at the museum.

Meeting Tuesday night June 9th, from 7-8:30. Program will be on the early pioneer families Gilmore and Yost. Their homesteads were located where Raymore's Creekmore subdivision is now.
