Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and resolve of the thousands of Allied troops who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.

Many never made it home. Many carried the scars of that day for the rest of their lives. Their willingness to face unimaginable odds changed the course of history and helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.

On this D-Day anniversary, let us honor those heroes not only with our words, but by living lives worthy of their sacrifice. May we never forget the price paid for liberty and the extraordinary generation that answered the call when the world needed them most.

"We'll remember them."

At VRANH, this is what we are all about. Supporting, encouraging and taking care of each other ❤️

We are proud to announce that Veterans Resource Alliance of NH is an Honor Guardian Sponsor for Honor's Legacy Bash! 🐾❤️💙

Founded by veterans, for veterans, Veterans Resource Alliance understands the unique challenges that service members face because they've walked that path themselves. Their mission is simple yet powerful: ensuring that no veteran faces life's challenges alone.

Through assistance navigating the VA system, connecting veterans to mental health resources, and building meaningful community connections, Veterans Resource Alliance continues to make a tremendous impact across New Hampshire.

What makes this partnership even more special is their commitment to supporting fellow veteran-serving organizations.

"Veterans Resource Alliance NH believes strongly in strengthening and uplifting fellow veteran nonprofits because we are always stronger together. Supporting organizations like Walking With Honor aligns deeply with our mission of community collaboration, compassion, and ensuring no veteran walks alone."

Those words perfectly reflect the spirit of Honor's Legacy Bash and the incredible community of organizations working together to support our nation's heroes.

Thank you, Veterans Resource Alliance of NH, for standing beside Walking With Honor and helping us change lives—one veteran and one dog at a time.

🐾 Join us in thanking Veterans Resource Alliance of NH for their support!

🚨 NEW NONPROFIT SPOTLIGHT 🚨

Please help us welcome Walking with Honor to the community! 🐾🇺🇸

At Veterans Resource Alliance NH, we are deeply committed to making sure veteran-led nonprofits don’t just start… they last, grow, and thrive. Every organization knows how hard those early days can be, and we believe in strengthening and encouraging more nonprofits built to serve our veterans and their families. Community, not competition. Always.

This year, we are proud to introduce Walking With Honor — an incredible organization founded by a veteran that trains and places shelter-sourced service dogs with military veterans, restoring independence, purpose, hope, and ensuring no hero walks alone. Their mission is powerful because it changes two lives at once: the veteran and the dog. ❤️🐕

Faith is an incredible human being, veteran, and passionate advocate whose heart for service shines through in everything she does. The impact Walking With Honor is already making is truly inspiring — not only for our veterans, but for these amazing dogs who are being given a second chance and a purpose alongside our heroes.

We want to help secure their place in this community for years to come, so please take a moment to check them out, like and follow their page, support their mission, and donate if you are able.

Let’s help keep Walking With Honor walks beside our veterans forever. 🇺🇸🐾

And make sure you stop by and see them at VetFest!!!! 🎉

Memorial Day hits different when you’ve worn the uniform… because you realize those folded flags once belonged to someone’s person.

Someone who laughed too loud, annoyed their buddies, missed home, had plans after service, and people waiting for them.

As a veterans, we think about the empty seats.
The phone calls families never should have received.

The brothers and sisters we still carry with us long after the uniforms came off.

A folded flag may only weigh a few pounds in your hands… but for the ones left behind, it can weigh on a heart forever.

Memorial Day isn’t about sales, barbecues, or a long weekend.

It’s about remembrance.
It’s about honoring those who never got the chance to come home and live the life they fought to protect for the rest of us.

To the fallen — we remember you.
To the families left carrying that weight — we stand with you. 🇺🇸
To our brothers and sisters still fighting, we got you.

Today, we honor the women who carry so much more than most people ever see.

To the Gold Star Mothers who carry the weight of unimaginable loss while still finding the strength to keep going—we see you. Your children’s legacies live on through your love, your courage, and the way you continue to show up for others even after your own hearts were shattered. There are no words big enough for your sacrifice. 🇺🇸

To the Blue Star Mothers, military moms, veteran moms, and the mothers who stand behind those who serve—thank you. Thank you for the sleepless nights, the constant worry, the missed holidays, the phone calls you wait for, and the quiet sacrifices nobody applauds enough. Service is never carried by one person alone. Families serve too. Mothers serve too.

And to the moms holding their families together while carrying burdens nobody knows about…we see you too. The strong ones. The tired ones. The grieving ones. The healing ones. The ones fighting battles quietly while still loving fiercely.

Today is for all of you.

From all of us at Veterans Resource Alliance NH, Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for your strength, your sacrifice, and the love that keeps so many of us going. ❤️🇺🇸
