Once again our RCFY Youth Action students along with other Youth from throughout NH did a fantastic job creating a film from start to finish to help spread awareness to concerns they have for the health and wellbeing of the Youth in their communities.

We are grateful to all of the parents, community partners and individuals who came out to support our Youth last night at the Granite Youth Alliance Film Festival.
Our middle school group video is on THC look alike products Dangers in Disguise. https://youtu.be/y6c337ZCNWU?si=pZPYQpmko4TOvS9e

You are invited to join us at our monthly Raymond Coalition for Youth meeting to learn more about
What is Kratom? Great question. It is marked to appeal to all ages, but they do not always promote the many side effects.
It is an unregulated substance, meaning anyone can buy it over the counter and it is readily available in gas stations, convenience stores and v**e shops across our state. this means anyone can purchase it, including children.
We are working to raise awareness to the dangers associated with the use of this drug so parents, adults and youth know that just because you can buy it, doesn't mean it is good for you.
We want to thank our partners at Lamprey Health Care and our guest speaker Karen Prazar for joining us to share more information about this substance.
We hope you can come by too. Our meetings are open for all to attend and we have coffee and muffins too, thank you to Hannaford Supermarkets
The meeting will be on Thursday, June 13th, 9:00 am - 10:30 am at the Raymond Baptist Church

Getting to “Y”. A program where students use data to identify the issues or concerns in their community, work together with other students to discuss top concerns and contributing factors, and put ideas in place to make a difference.

Our students had their first presentation to Raymond high school administrators which turned out to be a learning opportunity for all.

Sometimes the things that seem easy to fix actually have policies and procedures in place that make things a bit more complex.

We want to thank Pricipal Dannible and Vice Principal McCann for taking the time to listen, share, and brainstorm some possible solutions with these students.

Everyone agrees Va**ng is an issue in our community, not just our schools and not just our community. Finding ways to help raise awareness to the risks and dangers for parents and students alike is the challenge.

We had a great discussion about supporting students who want to quit. Identifying trusted adults in the building they can go to for “quit bags” and resources to access help and support.

Great stuff!!

Saying goodbye to our Seniors is never easy We are deeply grateful for the time, talents and contributions, they have shared throughout their journey with RCFY Youth Action.
Our students often tell us that becoming part of RCFY feels like a second family, a place they make real friendships with peers they might never have met otherwise. That sense of connection is what makes this group so special.
We hope our seniors carry those memories with them and always remember that they will remain a part of the RCFY family.
We can't wait to see what your future brings and, hopefully, and in what ways you will mentor and inspire the next group of youth!
