The North Pacific County Food Bank has recently had rumors being said and as manager I would like to set the stories straight!
We have an old building as is with many in town that have developed a foundation problem.
We have hired a local contractor to begin the complete repair in mid-August. We are NOT getting condemned, nor are we going to be closed. We will be presented with some challenging ways to serve our clients, but we WILL be there to serve.
Instead of a waiting room we will be using the sidewalk alongside Park Street. We are looking now for anyone who has a tent canopy that we can borrow for the duration of the project so that our clients may be protected from the weather whatever it may be. We are asking for patience and understanding as we are doing everything we can to minimize inconvenience to everyone.
This is a major and expensive project. Any contributions or questions can be directed to Bonnie Ryan, Manager at 360-942-4726, cell 360-208-4966, 1899 Park, Raymond WA 98577. Thank you in advance for your support.
