Today, we honor the families who carry a sacrifice that can never truly be repaid.
On Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, we pause to honor the mothers, fathers, spouses, children, siblings, and loved ones of our nation’s fallen service members.
Behind every Gold Star is a name.
A life.
A family.
A story that continues long after the uniform is gone.
To our Gold Star Mothers and Families: we see you. We remember with you. And we will never forget the heroes you love.
Their service ended, but their legacy did not.
Today and always, Salute the Troops Foundation stands beside our Gold Star Families with gratitude, respect, and remembrance.
May we always speak their names. 🇺🇸⭐

🚨 PLOT TWIST: WE’VE MOVED! 🚨

You know us… we like to keep everyone on their toes. So naturally, why wouldn’t we shake things up with a last-minute booth relocation at the Deerfield Fair?! 😂

Okay, okay… WE didn’t move ourselves. The fair moved us. We promise we’re not just wandering around the fairgrounds looking for a place to set up. 🤣

But actually… we LOVE our new spot!

🇺🇸 Salute the Troops Foundation will now be located directly across from the TRUCK PULL ARENA! 🛻💨

Honestly, could there be a more perfect place for us?! WOOHOO!!!

So forget the old location, save the new map, and follow the sound of roaring trucks until you find the STTF crew. 😂

Come say hi, learn about what we do, support our mission, and hang out with us at the Deerfield Fair, October 1–4!

📍 NEW LOCATION: DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE TRUCK PULL ARENA

See you there! 🇺🇸🎡

THIS. This is what we do. 🇺🇸

I can’t think of a better way to start the day than knowing a veteran who was experiencing homelessness now has a safe place to call home.

Three days.

From the moment we were notified that a veteran needed help to housing secured in just three days.

No endless passing of phone numbers.
No “someone else will handle it.”
No looking the other way.

People came together. Resources came together. And most importantly, people showed up.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in making this happen. This is what community looks like, and this is exactly what we mean when we say:

Compassion to Action.

A veteran needed help.

We showed up. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 BEYOND THE UNIFORM
Service has ended. Now what?
For years, you knew where you belonged.
You knew your mission.
You knew the people standing beside you.
And then one day…the uniform comes off.
Maybe you’re struggling financially. Maybe you need help navigating resources. Maybe your family is going through something you never expected. Or maybe you simply don’t know who to call or where to start.
That’s where Salute the Troops Foundation comes in.
We may not have every answer.
We may not be able to solve every problem.
But we will show up.
We’ll listen.
We’ll help you figure out the next step.
We’ll connect you with resources when someone else can help better.
And when it’s something we can do?
We roll up our sleeves and get to work.
Because supporting our veterans shouldn't end when their service does.
Beyond the Uniform isn't about a handout. It's about making sure that when a veteran or military family looks around and thinks, “Who do I turn to now?” — there is an answer.
Turn to us. We show up. 🇺🇸
