We are honored to share that Salute the Troops Foundation has been nominated in the Best of the 603 competition!

As a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit, this nomination means so much to us because it reflects the incredible support of our community, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and the veterans and families we are privileged to serve.

Every day, we work to honor and uplift veterans through emergency assistance, wellness programs, and our SHIP Program, helping veterans and their spouses attend life-changing mental health retreats.

Voting opens on June 10th, and we'd be grateful if you would consider supporting us with your vote.

🇺🇸 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE 9TH ANNUAL SALUTE THE TROOPS FOUNDATION CAR SHOW & 2ND ANNUAL VETFEST! 🇺🇸

It takes an incredible team of volunteers to make an event of this size successful, and we're looking for a few more amazing people to help us on August 8th at Deerfield Fairgrounds!

Whether you can give a few hours or the entire day, your support helps us create an unforgettable experience for veterans, families, sponsors, vendors, and attendees.

Volunteer opportunities may include:
✅ Setup & breakdown
✅ Parking assistance
✅ Registration & welcome tables
✅ Kid Zone support
✅ Raffle & prize table assistance
✅ Event runners
✅ Information booths
✅ General event support

No special experience is needed—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

That advice has cost New England homeowners a lot of money.

If your attic has 30-year-old fiberglass batts that have compressed, sagged, and pulled away from the chimney — adding more on top does almost nothing. The air leaks are the problem, not the R-value.

We crawl into spaces like this, find the actual gaps, seal them, THEN insulate. That's the order. Skip the first part and you're heating the neighborhood.

On this Memorial Day, we know hearts are heavy as we remember our brothers and sisters who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

We honor them.
We remember them.
We never give up for them.

Today is more than a day off from work or a cookout with friends and family. Today is for remembrance and each story of sacrifice is different.

To my fellow veterans, today you may hear the usual “Thank you for your service” and that’s okay. No need to correct and educate. Accept the appreciation and let us remember those who no longer stand here with us.

🇺🇸 From all of us at Salute the Troops Foundation, as we enter Memorial Day weekend… ❤️🤍💙

For many, this weekend marks the unofficial start of summer — backyard BBQs, family gatherings, sunshine, and time spent making memories with the people we love.
And while we absolutely hope everyone enjoys those moments, we also ask that we take time to remember why this weekend exists.
Memorial Day is not simply a long weekend.
It is a day of remembrance.
A day to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation — those who gave their tomorrows so we could have today.
As you enjoy time with family, hear laughter in the backyard, watch the flags wave, or simply soak in a quiet moment of gratitude, please remember the families for whom this weekend carries a different weight.
All gave some. Some gave all.
