What's new in the PSO!

Personal Care Drive~ Help us to help students be their best for learning and education. There is an immediate and ongoing need for personal care items. PSO is running a drive for those who can donate items of greatest need, including travel size. Drop-off bin is located inside Main Office waiting area at RHS. Thank you in advance for your support! (needed most: deodorant, toothbrushes/toothpaste, hairbrushes, lip balm, feminine products)

Clothing/Shoes/Linens Donation Bin~ Keep it out of the landfill! Any used clothing, shoes, linens, bring to our EcoSmith Recycle Bin outside the RHS cafeteria on the driveway. All funds raised go directly to students and staff.

Meetings~ Our October meeting will be held next Thursday, October 12, 2:45-3:30pm in the office conference room. Meetings give parents a voice with administration, help us with ideas to support the school. Google-meet link: meet.google.com/mqb-qnqb-jos

Recent Accomplishments~

PSO helped Art teacher Maria Eanes with the Deerfield Art Show setup and takedown. All student art with ribbons is now displayed in the main hallway outside the office and near the Art Room. Congratulations RHS students on your artwork!

PSO put out snacks for the teachers the afternoon of Open House. The Open House was great with all of the student organization informational tables.

Homecoming~ PSO worked to have more community involvement with grade-level banners signed by all students grades preK-8th, with the younger students invited to march in the parade and families to come to the games. Go RAMs.

Coming up: PSO plans to sponsor a PaintNight and have SpiritWear sales.

ALSO, Please fill out the “Block Schedule Survey” for parents and guardians. Give your input to the scheduling committee. PLEASE take the few minutes to do this by October 11. THANK YOU.

The banners are hung, and we are ready to cheer on the high school for homecoming! Hope to see you all out and about at some of the events! Just a reminder, the parade starts at 9 AM tomorrow morning!

Help us kick off the year right for our senior class and staff! If you are able to donate to their August 28th cookout, we would greatly appreciate the help.

Help us kickstart the year for our seniors! We will be providing food, music, games and fun on August 28th from 12-2. The will eat and have fun playing games with the favorite staff members! The district will be providing the burgers and hot dogs, we would love help with the rest. We will be serving...

Please join us for our 16th Annual Family Fun Night! Free Pizza, games, giveaways and most of all a chance to learn about all of the resources available right here in our community.
