The public has spoken, and we have listened!!!!
Our local American Legion Post 122 club has rebranded! We are now the Carbon County Speed Goats!
Why? Because we listened to concerns brought forward from parents, players, former players, and coaches! We realized that people were eager for some changes and growth in our program.
What has changed? We have given our club a new look (new colors), a new mascot (Speed Goats!!!), new board members, and new coaches!
Did we fire our previous staff? Absolutely NOT! We continue to embrace the desire to lead our youth and encourage anyone who has baseball knowledge to reach out to be members of our staff. We have a couple coaches and board members who have decided to move on to new adventures in life and we wish them luck! We also still have young coaches who want to learn and develop their leadership skills through the realm of coaching. They will be welcomed back when they return from college to engage in coaching activities throughout the summer!
We wholeheartedly want to thank our previous staff members and coaches over the years. They did an incredible job for our program and we appreciate all the time and energy each person put into our program! Leading a youth program is a difficult and thankless task, so please listen when we say THANK YOU!!!!! The individuals who have come through this program are better people because of you!
