I posted a Las Vegas trip, but it's in question because it is a little pricey. I’m going to check around and ask a few questions before I decide whether to pull it.
We have confirmed the Kentucky trip, and we’ve also added Monterey, California, and a guided Wyoming fishing trip, more details on it will come.
I have no doubt we’re going to have a very entertaining evening! And if our “dignitary” does make an appearance, Rick will make sure they’re involved in a segment of the auction—or quickly moved into one when they show up!
Then came the mad dash through Sam’s and a liquor stores before heading back to Rawlins. I pulled in at 5:15, picked up my sister, and we headed to Elk Mountain for the 4-H Pancake Dinner Fundraiser, $40 pancakes never tasted so good!
The kids were fantastic and so appreciative. I also had the opportunity to meet a couple of the HEM FFA students, their class is building a seating bench for our auction.
And remember our plan: each school constructing something specifically for our event will receive a 50/50 split on the auction proceeds from that item. The school will receive 50% of the proceeds from its specific auction item, with that money going directly back to their FFA program (HEM, EHS, and LSR)
This is such a wonderful cause, and I’m really excited that our event can help support these students and their program.
