GFWC CIVIC CLUB of Ravenswood WV The object of this club shall be the general culture of its members and to promote the civic, educational and the social welfare of the community.

Due to the recent fire at our beloved McIntosh House, meetings are temporarily being held at 707 Harpold Avenue in Ravenswood. Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday, September thru May at 1:30 pm.

The GFWC Florida Flight of Honor was so meaningful to all involved, and will have a lasting impact on so many women veterans. We are so glad to be a part of honoring these women for their immense sacrifice for our nation. Thank you to everyone who made this possible, especially Past President Sara Dessureau & Project Chair Ronda Carney for pulling this all together so wonderfully. It is amazing what we can do when we come together!

A little bit of West Virginia made it into orbit during the Artemis II launch Wednesday. Aluminum lithium, which is made at the Constellium plant in Ravenswood, West Virginia, was used to make rocket plates for the mission.
