📢 The Gabriel Project – Ravenswood is OPEN this Thursday!

Our Ravenswood site will be open Thursday, August 27th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to serve families in need. 💙

We provide support for families with children ages 2 and under, offering essentials such as:
👶 Diapers & wipes
🍼 Formula & baby food
👕 Infant & toddler clothing
🧸 Other baby necessities

If you or someone you know could use a helping hand, please come see us. No appointment is needed — just bring identification.

Hello Everyone, Thanks to everyone that shared the photos of the homecoming and prom dresses that we have. I had a couple of sisters look at our dresses recently. One of them took a dress home but the other one couldn’t find one that fit due to our sizes. I want everyone that needs/wants a dress to have one. Does anyone have homecoming/prom dresses in sizes over 18 to donate? We would love to have them if they are like new.

I am also looking for STURDY clothing racks with wheels, preferably, for a reasonable price? We really need a few and would rather use our funds for clothing for our clients.

This beautiful young lady came to Savannahs Closet to find a Homecoming Dress. This is one she tried on but did not take, she found another one she liked better. We have some beautiful Homecoming and Prom dresses for free.

REMINDER:

Hello Everyone, I wanted to let any of our clients know that I will be unavailable from 8/8/2026 to 8/18/2026. With school starting I wanted to serve our clients that need school clothes before I become unavailable. We need to meet this week. Contact me through Messenger.
I am so sorry to say if you have already picked up spring/summer clothing for your kids this year I can’t provide to you again until I have fall/winter supplies available
ADDENDUM:
I am having many requests to provide children clothes for school due to the state not providing as many clothing allowances this year. I purchased as much as I could this weekend to fill this need. If anyone would like to help with this issue I saw lots of clearance items at Walmart in Ripley and Pettyville that could be purchased and donated to Savannahs Closet. You can also donate money if you wish. It would help our Jackson County children as we are a small charity and can’t possibly provide for everyone needing help. We give new and slightly used clothes to children from sizes 4T to 18.

A very nice lady came in Thursday and donated cash to Savannahs Closet. You know who you are. I just wanted to say thank you again. We are so grateful.
