Ravenna MI Sons of the American Legion Squadron 297 Founded in 1932, Sons of The American Legion exists to honor the service and sacrifice of Legionnaires. S.A.L.

This Squadron was formed in January 2014 and supports the American Legion Post 297, the post's Auxiliary, the posts The American Legion Amateur Radio Club group, and the post's Legion Riders. Meetings are the first Monday of each month at 7pm and are open to all potential members, community, and visitors. members include males of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the U.S. military a

nd were eligible for American Legion membership. Members of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of The American Legion comprise the Legion Family, which has a combined membership of nearly 4.2 million.
