Calculated Culture: The AI DEI Driven Death Hollywood is trapped in a deadly pincer movement, and cinema is flatlining because of it. Look back at 1976—a banner year of raw, boundary-pushing masterpieces like Taxi Driver and Network that marked the absolute apex of filmmaking. Fast forward to 2026, and the multiplex is a ghost town of forgettable, corporate-approved slop. The culprits? Algorithm-obsessed tech executives and risk-averse studio boardrooms.

This digital bottleneck has permanently choked out the art form through two major systemic pressures:

The AI & DEI Bottleneck: Long before a camera rolls, major studios run screenplays through AI script-analysis tools like Greenlight Coverage or ScriptSense. These algorithms scan thousands of pages in seconds, strip-mining creative ideas while aggressively cross-referencing text against strict corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) metrics.

The Checklist-Style Formula: Because these AI platforms optimize purely for corporate compliance and historical data safety, they aggressively filter out risky, unconventional human writing. If an executive demands a specific demographic breakdown, the AI forces the script to obey the math. The result? Predictable, forced dialogue and plastic, flawless characters that alienate core audiences hungry for genuine human conflict.

Automated Global Censorship: The death of artistic integrity doesn't stop in the writers' room. Advanced AI visual effects tools now allow studios to seamlessly alter films for regional compliance on a mass scale. To appease highly restrictive international markets, automated software can instantly swap out background flags, rewrite audio tracks, or digitally erase LGBTQ+ and political content from a scene with a few clicks.

By prioritizing sterile technological efficiency over raw, visceral storytelling, the modern studio system has traded the dangerous, unpredictable edge of classic cinema for a predictable ideological checklist. So why do people keep watching?

Neither major candidate for Ohio Governor has proposed eliminating Flock cameras. Both candidates are walking a fine line, acknowledging data privacy alarms raised by their bases without committing to a ban. What do you think?

Neither major candidate has proposed eliminating Flock cameras altogether as privacy concerns about them have gained political traction.

IN A 2023 townhall Project Promise sounded the alarm on BR, AI, and the threat to our power grid. Nobody is laughing now. With 77 massive data centers invading Ohio by 2030—including four potentially circling Portage County—the corporate colonization of our state resources is officially underway. Wall Street is landing multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects on our backs while exploiting loopholes that secure massive tax exemptions. Is this economic development or a resource coup? What happens to OHIO when BR and AI monoliths own the very power keeping our lights on?

On March 2, 2026, a consortium led by BR GIP and Swedish firm EQT officially agreed to acquire The AES Corporation in an enterprise-value deal worth $33.4 billion. Stockholders approved the buyout in June 2026, and the deal is on track to close in late 2026 or early 2027. It transitions AES Corporation into a private entity, directly handing investment control of AES Indiana (over 520,000 customers) and AES Ohio to the private equity consortium.

Consumer advocates warn a $10 billion deal that would give BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, control over AES Ohio could create conflicts of interest that end up raising electricity rates for Ohioans.

IN THE COMMENTS OF THE AUG 6TH NEOHIO POST, WITNESS the inspiring spectacle of Ravenna community members verbally gassing their fellow Ward 1 neighbors . For these commenters apparently so "concerned" with mental health, their immediate pivot to toxic bullying to those Ward 1 residents bravely speaking out.. Apparently, community empathy stops the second someone points out a real problem.

RAVENNA BREAKING NEWS —A multi-day police search in ward one concluded today after a standoff ended in the suspect's arrest. Local residents are praising Ravenna's Police Chief for taking a decisive, proactive stance against crime in this ward. Ward 1 has been under siege for years.

.Out of respect for public safety and to ensure law enforcement operations were not compromised, we withheld this story until now. One resident endured prolonged terror, feeling too unsafe to even approach her own vehicle for days. Meanwhile, neighbors reported the man shouting disruptions, directing explicit threats and racial expletives at citizens, and smashing property.

Witnesses noted that he briefly left for downtown for about half an hour, only to return and resume destroying things. Although the suspect had been staying in a program-funded, owner-occupied building, he was ultimately arrested at a law-abiding neighboring property—a stark example of the chaotic disruptions innocent residents have been forced to endure The strategic deployment of police K-9 units and surveillance drones proved instrumental in safely resolving this tense situation.

Our community notes a demonstrable increase in localized security under this new police leadership, expressing profound gratitude to the department fo restoring civic order.

Thank you RAVENNA POLICE! THE PULSE. https://projectpromiseportage.com/
