So if you're looking for all 12 of our American legend flags, I'm sorry to say but 2 of them have found a way to disappear. Currently there is only 10 up but we have a few more on order so with luck we should have this fixed by the end of the week.

Ok The Friends of West Branch State Park are looking for a few things to help get started decorating the campground for Fall/Halloween. We could use some bales of straw and corn stalks. Anyone able to help out give Gary a call at 330 608-3461

OK so if you've been to one of our Halloween events at West Branch State Park you know how much fun it is. We still have a few spots on our trail open. we're looking for someone or a group to set up a spot using your decorations and to man it while the haunted trail takes place. We may still have a camp site available to someone that would like to try this. We are planning a meeting this Tuesday August 25th 6:00 pm at the camp store or you can contact Gary at 330-608-3461

Well I have to say. We had storms today, the power was out for a bit, but we still found a clear time to to have a really fun foam party, some hot dogs and ice- cream.

Weather permitting this Saturday we have our chalk the walk and a foam party at 6:00pm. Ice-cream social will be at 6:00pm with the foam party. We'll have hot dogs and pop as well.

Thanks to Cheryl, Amanda and Kevin (park maintenance) we got the flower bed at the campground entrance looking good again.

Help us support The Buckeye Trail Association this Saturday the 15th. Go on an extended hike. Not sure about the hike but want to know more about them. They will be set up by the friends area to answer all your questions. Take the hike and stop up at the friends area and get a free ice cream after the hike. Our standard ice cream social will move to 6:00.

Just a reminder, Our Halloween weekends are fast approaching. Oct 3rd and Oct 10th. If you are interested in helping us out or setting up a display in the trail, please contact Gary Hunsicker at 330-608-3461. We are starting to put our plan for this year together. Also if anyone would like to donate towards our prizes or items to raffle off we would greatly appreciate it.
