Thanks to teens for a great job picking up trash along the highway. Not as much trash this time, and quick workers. Probably the fastest we've ever completed it!

Watchout for youth on Hwy 90 tomorrow night! We'll be out with teens picking up trash. It's great to be able to teach community service in the name of Jesus to young people d**g this (since 1998). These are pictures from the past few years.

We finished cleaning out the lake bed and harvested many yards of excellent mulch! While we still have a dump trailer, we'll shift next to getting gravel from the entrance of the lake.

I failed to order 2x6's for floor joists, and didn't discover it until the class showed up ready to learn today. So, they got a bonus lesson in milling boards! Thankful to God for the sawmil.

One nice thing about the drought is that we can clean out the bottom of the pond. After over 20 years, it was getting pretty full of debris that washed in from the creek flowing through the woods. It's about three feet deeper so far! Also, we have some great compost!

We probably will NOT do the waterslide tonight (unless there's a huge demand for it from the teens ahead of time), but we're planning to host teen night tonight (5:30-8:00). We'll eat, play games, and finish the video on Ezekiel.

After years of holding all homeschool group classes at Village Bible Church, this year we have teachers doing classes on OUR campus, too! The weeks between meeting in Cherokee Village, some of the classes also meet in Ravenden Springs for lessons that aren't practical to teach on the church grounds.

Getting ready for the fall semester of homeschool group. These parents represent just some of the families we expect to see this year. Looks like we'll be bursting at the seams of Village Bible Church this year!

After our final day of daycamp, we traditionally invite the twelve-year-old campers to join the teen helpers (age 13+) and play on the waterslide then go for pizza. We had a great time today with all the kids, teens, adult helpers, and parents. Looking forward to many more adventures together in the next year!
