⭐️⭐️ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐️⭐️
I would like to let all our donors, supporters and followers know that as of the end of 2024 we have relocated the horses we had at Dreamcatcher, the property has been sold, the non profit organization will be dissolved and non operational by the end of January 2025. - This may come as a shock to some of you and I am sorry to be springing this on you with no warning.
I took on managing Dreamcatcher in January 2017 and during this time have worked relentlessly to downsize and find homes for the not so wild horses, care for the genuine wild ones who were there and keep the organization operational. When I took it on there were 450 horses on the property and at the end of 2024 I had the final 15 horses to place. The last 8 years has been an ongoing operation reducing the number of horses on the property, by gentling & rehoming them and finding new sanctuary homes for many of the longer term horses needing sanctuary life.
for the last 2 years, two of the herds of horses that had been living at Dreamcatcher were not owned by our organization, they were staying with us for a couple of years till they moved to their new location and they have all arrived safely at the new home in Texas at a sanctuary satellite location
Our final group of Dreamcathers BML branded horses are still in Northern California and now living out their years at Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown CA; where they have been welcomed into the herd and the amazing sanctuary environment they have there.
I would appreciate it hugely that if you donated to Dreamcatcher in the past, that you would now send any donations to the WHS, they are a great non profit organization giving a wonderful home to many horses .
I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who has stood by us and supported the horses in our care - I am happy to answer questions if you have any and I want everyone to know the Dreamcatcher horses are safe and in amazing new homes.
Thank you to everyone who followed & supported us
