Hey 3 Gun Family! The Del Norte Gun Club, in Rio Rancho is hosting the Chuck Norris Rifle Invitational to benefit the 2nd amendment. It’s an all rifle match they host each year to raise money for two nonprofits that defend our 2A rights here in New Mexico. All of the money they raise stays right here in NM.

It’s a fun match with targets ranging from 1 to 300 yards. Every year they pick a theme. This year it’s Chuck Norris, and they’re having a ton of fun with it. Think boats, Humvees, karate kicks, and full auto.

The main match is Saturday, September 26, and for the first time they’re adding a night match on Friday, September 25.
Friday morning: Staff Match
Friday evening: Night Match, limited to 50 shooters
Saturday: Main Match, limited to 100 shooters
They also have GPNVG, a night vision company, sponsoring the match. They’ll be at the event with NVGs available to rent. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who has experience with NODs but doesn’t own their own and wants to shoot the night match, or for someone who’s been wanting to try night vision before making the investment. Kind of a “try before you buy” thing. I’ll include the rental link below as well if you know anyone who might be interested. For safety reasons, we are asking that anyone wanting to shoot the night match have competition experience.
