We have a few days left to collect, and wow. The outpouring of love from this community has been incredible.

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday with food and cash donations. It was a great day gathering donations, making wreaths, and seeing this place buzzing with generosity. Because of you, many families will benefit this holiday season.

We are so close to our goal. Please share this with friends and neighbors and help us finish strong.

Our community continues to amaze us. Every time we think we’ve seen the peak of generosity, you raise the bar again. And now we have the proof: we’ve collected 692 pounds of food so far! 🎉💪



That’s 692 pounds of full pantries, lifted spirits, and families who can breathe a little easier. Shelves at the Rathdrum Food Bank that were running low are now stocked because of you. This is real impact, happening right here in our town.



And we’re not done yet.



Let’s push all the way to our goal of 1,000 pounds! We’re so close, and this community has never shied away from a challenge. When we pull together, incredible things happen.



To help make donating even easier, the Schoolhouse will be staffed on Saturday, December 6 for anyone who needs a hand unloading. Pull up, pop the trunk, and we’ll do the heavy lifting.



Our food drive ends December 15, so there’s still time to be part of this amazing effort.



We’re collecting:



• 🥫 Canned proteins

• 🥜 Peanut butter

• 🍎 Canned fruits and veggies

• 🍝 Boxed meals like Hamburger Helper

• 🧴 Personal care items

• 🧻 Household essentials

• 💵 Cash donations for the Food Bank



Every item you give becomes a warm meal, a stocked shelf, or a moment of relief for someone who needs it. Thank you for turning generosity into action. Let’s cross that 1,000-pound finish line together! 🎉

Hi friends!

As we roll into Thanksgiving week, we’re still collecting for the Rathdrum Food Bank and the need remains strong. Your donations are already making a real difference, and we’re grateful for every can, jar, and dollar that has come in.

While you’re prepping for the big feast this week, keep our food drive in mind. If you end up with unopened, non-perishable items after the holiday, please consider donating what you can. Those extra cans of veggies or that spare box of stuffing can help a family in our own community enjoy a warmer, brighter season.

Drop donations on the porch of the Schoolhouse anytime, or reach out and we’ll gladly arrange a pickup.

In just our first truck-load…. 444.5 pounds of food delivered… and we’re just getting started! 🎉💪

This community is incredible. You’ve already made a huge impact, and families right here at home are feeling the love. But we’re not done yet!

Come join the fun! Our friends at the Twin Lakes Improvement Association have an amazing night of fun planned!!

You are cordially invited to a night of festivities. The Twin Lakes Improvement Association will be hosting a social gathering and silent auction on Friday, August 8 from 6 to 9 PM. At Twin Lakes Village Golf Club across from moondollars on the grass under the white tents
This event will feature the drawing of the winning ticket for the 2025 party barge pontoon boat by KHQ Anchor Haley Guenthner.
A variety of food and beverages will be provided, including pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, sides, beer, wine, soda, dirty soda lemonade, and water. Music and lawn games will also be available for entertainment. This is a kid-friendly event. Some of the items up for auction include a full car detail, chainsaw with battery, w**d eater with battery, patriotic quilt, sunset cruise, theater tickets, pamper basket, and a truckload of gravel.
There's something for everyone.
