❤️ Thank You, Elevate Rapid City! ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful to the amazing team from Elevate Rapid City for choosing The Salvation Army for their United Way Month of Caring project!

Their team rolled up their sleeves and put together an incredible 625 food bags for local individuals and families in need. 🥫❤️

That’s 625 bags filled with hope, kindness, and a little extra help for a family in our community. What an incredible impact!

We are so thankful for volunteers and community partners who are willing to give their time and energy to help us Doing the Most Good right here in the Black Hills. Your generosity makes a difference, and we couldn’t do what we do without people like you!

Thank you, Elevate Rapid City, for caring for our community! ❤️🫶

We Remember. We Honor. We Serve.

Today, The Salvation Army remembers the lives lost and the families forever changed by September 11, 2001.

In the days and weeks following the attacks, Salvation Army officers, staff, volunteers, and emergency response teams stood alongside first responders, survivors, families, and communities—providing meals, refreshments, emotional and spiritual care, and a helping hand to those who needed it most.

September 11 reminds us of the incredible courage of those who ran toward danger, the compassion of those who served, and the strength that comes when we come together to care for one another.

As The Salvation Army, we remain committed to Doing the Most Good—serving our communities in times of crisis and need, and being there when people need us most.

Today, we remember those we lost. We honor the heroes who served. And we carry forward their legacy of courage, compassion, and service.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the families forever changed on September 11, 2001.

We remember the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, the selflessness of those who helped others, and the countless acts of kindness and compassion that followed.

May we never forget the strength, unity, and generosity that brought communities together during one of our nation’s darkest days.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor those who served, and continue to hold their families and loved ones in our hearts.
