The heart of Ash Wednesday is not what we wear on our foreheads, but what we carry in our hearts as we turn toward God and begin Lent together.

Join us for worship this evening at 6:30 p.m. at Open Heart United Methodist Church. Or walk alongside us throughout Lent by supporting the Heart to Table food pantry. Each Sunday and Wednesday, we’ll share simple ways to help as we journey toward Easter.

Did you know Heart to Table is the same church handing out muffins every Monday to South Middle School students?

A fresh batch is made every Tuesdays for our pantry, because caring for our neighbors doesn’t stop at one place or one day. From school hallways to pantry shelves, it’s our joy to show up with something simple, nourishing, and made with love.

It’s a small thing, but it’s part of a bigger calling: to serve, to share, and to remind our community that they are seen and cared for, every week!

You may have noticed we’re using more graphics instead of photos. That’s because we never want anyone visiting the pantry to feel pressured to be in a photo or share their story. Everyone's experience matters to us as volunteers and neighbors, but we also deeply respect your privacy. If you choose to share, we will lend you an ear and offer you a pray, but your story will remain yours to tell. We want this to be a space where you feel safe, valued, and truly welcome.
