A Legacy Carried Forward
We have some news to share — our adopted off-the-track Thoroughbred mare, has been confirmed bred to Chicks Dash Easy via frozen semen.
Since Chicks passed away in 2020, we had not attempted to use his frozen semen. Chicks always settled his mares with ease, and it is a blessing that his frozen semen brings life again.
Chicks Dash Easy was not only a talented horse but also a stallion with an outstanding racing pedigree. He was the son of Chicks Beduino, one of the great sires in Quarter Horse racing, whose offspring earned more than $35 million. On the bottom side, Chicks was out of Designer Dash SI 93, a stakes-winning daughter of the legendary Dash For Cash, and from the family of Easy Jet through second dam Easy Morning SI 106. Speed, heart, and ability were deeply embedded in his pedigree.
Chicks carried that legacy well. He was an Oklahoma High Point Three-Year-Old C**t, a multiple stakes-placed runner, and later sired runners and performers who made their mark on the track and in the arena.
Chicks Dash Easy was part of our Foundation’s story, and his breeding fees helped support our work with veterans battling PTSD and TBI. In that way, his legacy has always been connected to C**ton’s.
This foal represents more than bloodlines. It embodies hope, remembrance, second chances, and the belief that even after loss, something meaningful can endure.
