Definitely a talk you won't want to miss.

Join us at the downtown wild oasis known as Trinity Eco Prayer Park next Thursday (Aug 27) at 7 pm for Philosophy in the Park with Mines Professor Richard Burgess

Dr. Burgess will talk for 15-20 minutes and then lead small group discussion about how we can live together and share as a community in the best ways we can.

He will present about how common resources, such as parks, have certain innate features that can facilitate overuse/abuse. Please join us for a discussion of the dynamics of commons resource systems and how we can utilize these within their sustainable yield.

***Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on!***

The dog days of summer are here, and yes, it’s HOT, HOT, HOT 🥵. But even when temperatures hit triple digits, the Greenway is a great place to get outside. You just have to make lots of water stops!

Grab your gloves, bring a friend and join us this Saturday at 9 a.m. for the next creek clean-up. Every bag of trash collected helps protect wildlife, improve water quality and keep our community beautiful. Clean up Rapid Creek
