🏠 Behind the scenes at A&K Coatings and Millwork!

We stopped by A&K Coatings and Millwork in Black Hawk, where owner Alex Rasmussen gave us a tour and showed us what goes into creating high-quality custom millwork and finishes right here in the Black Hills.

From custom trim and doors to staining, painting and refinishing, A&K handles it all in-house — giving them the ability to customize each project and maintain quality from start to finish.

🩸❤️ What a day for giving back!

Yesterday’s blood drive was a huge success! We had a great turnout, exceeded our goal of 20 units, enjoyed plenty of ice cream sundaes and root beer floats, watched two movies and, most importantly, gave back to our community. 🙌

Everyone who donated walked away with a $15 gift card — and a huge congratulations to Denise, who also won an additional $100 Good Dominion Tattoo gift card! 🎉 We can’t wait to see what you get tatted! 😂🖊️

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who came out to donate and support the cause, and to Vitalant for helping us make it happen. We’re so grateful for everyone who rolled up a sleeve and helped make a difference! ❤️

Last night was a good one! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Premier Surfaces for a great Member Mixer at their brand-new Rapid City location! We had a packed room, lots of networking, great conversations, tons of awesome prizes throughout the night, and plenty of good energy.

A huge thank you to Hart Ranch for letting us join them today for GeoBoards with the kids! 💛

There’s something so powerful about giving kids the opportunity to learn by doing—getting their hands on tools, building something from scratch, experimenting, and letting their creativity take the lead.

Hands-on experiences like this help kids see that they’re capable of creating, problem-solving, and bringing their ideas to life. Watching their excitement and curiosity in action was such a great reminder of how impactful these opportunities can be.

Thank you, Hart Ranch, for welcoming us and giving these kids a chance to learn, create, and have fun!
And thank you to volunteers like Shasta Baker Moreno for donating your time, energy, and knowledge at events like these. You make a difference in the lives of these kids!
