Ron Weider, past District Executive for the BHAC, lost his fight with cancer early yesterday morning. His family says, "Please don't be sad; he is no longer in pain, and he would not want anyone to worry about him. He can finally rest."

Black Hills Area Council passes their condolences on to Ron's family and thank him for his selfless service to BHAC.

There is an amazing opportunity coming to Black Hills Area Council THIS SUMMER! Right after we wrap up the 2025 Camp Season (which launches the 50th Anniversary celebration of MMSR), BHAC is hosting Wood Badge!

If you've heard of Wood Badge and know what it is, you need to get signed up!

If you haven't heard of Wood Badge and you want to know more, read up on it and get signed up!

If you're a Cub Scout leader, you should get signed up for Wood Badge.

If you're a Scouts BSA leader and you haven't taken Wood Badge, you should sign up!

Wood Badge will take place over two weekends in late July and early August. It is only $375 and it is an amazing experience.
