If making it to the pool with your sensory-seeker or easily-overwhelmed kiddo is a Herculean feat, this opportunity may be for you! Beat the heat, crowds, and loud music and come as you are!

Sensory Friendly Tips:

📲Show your child pictures of the rec center online so they know what to expect!

👙Pack a variety of suits and gear the night before to avoid that “it doesn’t feel right” fight!

✔️Don’t forget comfort items including goggles that covers the nose, fluffy towels, preferred snacks, and or pool safe toys!

🐢Also, it is MORE than fine for you child to just observe if they’re not ready to jump in! Slow and steady wins the race!

🦄 This is an exploratory, judgement free event to try something new!

🛟 Lifeguards will be on duty!
