Our 2026 Election Cycle is Here!

As we head into our annual board election cycle, Black Hills Lacrosse Association is looking for passionate, community-minded people to step up and help lead our organization. Whether you have a specific skill set to offer or simply want to be more involved, we would love to have you at the table.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

Vice President
Supports the President in leading the organization, steps in during the President's absence, and helps drive board initiatives forward.

Treasurer
Oversees the financial health of the organization including managing accounts, tracking income and expenses, processing payments, and reporting to the board.

Registrar
Manages player registration, maintains member records, and ensures eligibility requirements are met across all teams.

Equipment & Uniform Manager
Coordinates the ordering, distribution, tracking, and maintenance of team equipment and uniforms.

Social Media Manager
Manages BHLA's social media presence, creates and schedules posts, and helps promote events, milestones, and news across our platforms.

Community Partnerships Coordinator
Builds relationships with coaches, organizations, and programs to bring clinics, camps, and developmental opportunities to our players. Think events like our recent PLL Players Tour camp.

No prior board experience is necessary. We do our best to match responsibilities to each person's strengths and availability.

Nominations are open now and will be accepted through our board meeting on June 22nd, where voting will take place. To nominate yourself or someone else, send us a message, email [email protected], or reach out to any board member or team coordinator. Coordinators will pass nominations along to the board.

🕠 Gear & Uniform Turn‑In — 5:30–6:00 PM
Each team will have its own table for quick and easy drop‑off before awards begin.

🏆 Awards Presentation — 6:00 PM
Come cheer on our athletes and wrap up an awesome season together.

🍕 Pizza & Drinks Provided!
Come hungry — we’ll have pizza and drinks ready for everyone to enjoy while we celebrate.

🥍 Alumni Games to Follow
We’re excited to host both boys and girls alumni games this year!

We’re rolling into Watertown for a full weekend of lacrosse fun. Check out the details below for location, field assignments, complex rules, and food & drink options so you’re game‑day ready.

Please read the below information for our home tournament this weekend!

Welcome NPLL players, coaches and fans! We are looking forward to a weekend of fantastic lacrosse! Here a couple of need to know items before you head to Watertown:

1. We will have a hospitality table set up Saturday morning until 3pm. This is where directors and/or coaches can pick up their goodie bags for their players. Please have your goodie bags picked-up by 3pm on Saturday!

2. The address to ANZA Soccer Complex is: 1620 17th St SE Watertown, SD 57201

3. There are no pets allowed inside of ANZA Soccer Complex. Please leave them at home. Thank you.

4. Dempsey’s Proper Hot Dog Cart will be set up again this year with their gourmet and specialty hot dogs! We will also have The Snack Shack available with their food trailer serving walking tacos, nachos and more! Little Prairie Coffee Company will also be back with all the coffee and fun drinks! Joining us this year for the first time on Saturday Only will be The Rolling Cone with fun ice cream treats!

5. No Smoking allowed.
