Springtime is in full effect here at the Day Center. 🌱☀️ The sun is shining and faces are smiling! 😁
Thanks to Food Rescue with Feeding America, we’ve been blessed to provide our relatives with fresh fruits, vegetables and healthy meals and we are incredibly grateful for that support. When available, we’re also able to include those fresh items in our food bags, which means so much to the people we serve.
Over the last few months, we’ve also celebrated several of our relatives receiving housing, and we could not be more proud of them. Those victories matter. Every single one. We want to encourage anyone who is struggling with housing to sign up for Coordinated Entry and stay connected through the process. It can work, and we’ve seen that firsthand. We are in access point for coordinated entry, so please stop in to see us.
Here at the Day Center, continue to provide healthy home-cooked meals, mail services, showers, laundry, fellowship and cultural connection. Our relatives deserve dignity, care, support, and a place where they are welcomed with compassion. That continues to be our mission every day.
Thank you to everyone who supports this work, prays for this work, donates to this work, and stands beside our relatives with kindness and understanding. We see the good happening every day, and we are grateful to be part of it. ❤️ Wopila Tanka
