The WDTC Welding SkillsUSA team is busy on this . They completed a firepit to raffle off as a fundraiser and have been working on selling tickets. Tuesday they volunteered to assist with the Western Dakota Tech High School Welding Competition, performing material handling and helping with equipment. The Fab teams and Individual competitors have also done some mock projects this week to prepare for the SkillsUSA South Dakota State Conference coming up in April.

The WDT Welding Skills USA team traveled to Mitchell for the SkillsUSA South Dakota State Conference. We had 2 Fab teams and 5 in individual welding. Team W placed first in Team Fabrication, and Tanner Brunskill placed second in individual. A great time and a fun experience for these students.
