The 10k is identical to last year going up Reuter Trail to Sandpit Road, turning left up that road to the 3.1 mile marker/Cone, then back to the same way to the finish.
A run down of the 30K race which is very similar to the Bearlodge Mountain Classic Bike Race found at this site: http://media.wix.com/ugd/df66fc_4b2dc592a0c04744b0d1eabd76e63e87.pdf
If you open the link above, you can see where we go using this narrative below. We won't be running the lower blue loop, or the upper left orange loop. Explanations at the start.
Up Reuter to bitch pitch onto the Edge Trail, follow the Edge Trail to Sandpit Road. Then they will turn for you at 2 Flat. (Brown sign (the luge is to the left ) They then head up 2 flat back onto Sandpit Road up to the South Fork Trail. They then drop down to the pond and cross the dam. They then follow the weedeated trail into south fork. Following the arrow and ribbon marking .. Then at the bottom of south fork they take the turn up the weedeated trail. -(again and arrow and ribbon and chalk arrows ) Up the switchbacks all the way up Tent Canyon Trail to the top ....( right turn) then they follow the arrow and head west up the trail. Back to the 2flat trail then as before up on to the Sandpit Road they had already been on this time they go past the cattle guard all the way to the the top of Reuter Trail and down to the finish line.

Directions to the race, the easiest is to take the Highway 14 exit which is the third exit when coming from the east, or the first exit coming from the west on Interstate 90. Then head north as if you were going to Devils Tower and Hulett. On Highway 14, you only need to go approximately 1 mile to Warren Peak Road which has a large forest service sign about Cook Lake being closed. Turn right onto Warren Peak Road and stay on it until you get to Reuter Campground and the parking lot just past the campground entrance. About 3.5 miles.

A great big special thanks to Adrian Whitmore and the Sundance Chain Gang Mtn. Bike Association. Without them we would be running in the tall grass. They have done a great job on the course preparing it for their Bearlodge Mountain Classic http://www.scgmba.org/ #!bearlodge-mtn-classic/c1vj5

no profit, website that advocates mtn biking and land stewardship with USFS, private landowners, and bike companies.
