As we get settled into a new school year, we know that early learning starts with our eyes! Because of this, ECC Starting Strong is proud to partner with LifeSight’s KidsFIRST Vision Screenings to help ensure our students are set up for success. Healthy vision plays a vital role in a child’s development, learning, and overall well-being. When vision concerns go undetected, they can create significant barriers to learning and participation, often before we realize there may be an issue. Through KidsFIRST Free Vision Screenings, our preschool students receive free vision screenings and, when needed, referrals for follow-up care. This partnership has been instrumental in helping us support children not only in the classroom, but in the many other areas of health and development that contribute to their success as learners!
