This is Ruth. Ruth has worked at a family-owned grocery store in rural South Dakota for many years, but rapidly advancing cataracts in both eyes made performing routine everyday tasks – like driving to work and helping customers – uncertain. Without resources for surgery, Ruth feared losing both her sight and her livelihood.
Thanks to your generosity, Ruth received life-changing bilateral cataract surgery through LifeSight’s Gift of Sight program, performed by Dr. Rebecca Linquist of The Eye Doctors at Rapid City Medical Center, LLP, pictured here alongside Ruth.
Today, Ruth is back at the cash register, stocking shelves, and most importantly, seeing the smiling faces of her customers again.
