**Every Department Matters. Every Person Matters.**

Yesterday's staff meeting ended with a team-building challenge that had us laughing, communicating, and working together in ways we didn't expect.

Armed with ropes attached to a single crane tool, our mission was to gather plastic blocks scattered throughout the room and carefully stack them into a tower—and then a pyramid.

It was a little intimidating... at first, we were all pulling in different directions, figuring out how to navigate around obstacles, pick up each block, and place it without sending the whole tower tumbling down. But as we found our communication groove, listened to one another, and worked together with intention, everything started to click. We had a lot of laughs along the way, and by the end, we had built not only our tower, but stronger teamwork.

It was a great reminder of this month's staff meeting theme:

Every Department Matters.

Every person and every role at OneHeart is vital to the success of our mission. Whether serving guests directly or supporting the work behind the scenes, each department is connected. When we communicate well, trust one another, and work together toward a common goal, we create stronger outcomes for the individuals and families we serve.

Just like our tower, our mission is strongest when every person is working together.

What Does Success Really Look Like?

At OneHeart, we believe success is about more than simply leaving a program. It’s about building a stable life that lasts.

That’s why we track progress in areas that matter, including:

• Housing stability
• Employment and income
• Education
• Transportation
• Childcare and family stability
• Goal setting and achievement
• Confidence and readiness for the future

We look at these areas when people arrive, throughout their time at OneHeart, when they leave, and even after they move on.

Why? Because lasting change takes time.

Our data consistently shows that people who stay engaged longer—especially six months or more—tend to make stronger, more lasting progress. This isn't about creating dependency. It's about giving people the time and stability they need to build new skills, make changes, recover from setbacks, and create a stronger foundation for the future.

At OneHeart, we don't track outcomes just to prove we're right. We track them to stay honest, learn what works, and improve when something doesn't.

Quick exits are easy to count. Stable lives are harder to build.

We believe people deserve the time, structure, and support to practice stability—not rush through it.

**That's not just what we believe. It's what our data shows.**

People often ask how many people OneHeart RC serves. It’s an important question, but I think the better question is this:
What does it actually take to help someone move from crisis to stability?

The answer is rarely one program, one service, or one intervention. One person may need recovery support. Another may need help earning a GED. Another may need housing navigation, mental health care, employment coaching, or workforce development. And sometimes, someone simply needs another person who keeps showing up and refuses to give up on them.

That is the reality of transformation work. There is no universal solution. What changes one life may completely miss the mark for another. Real progress takes individualized plans, trusted relationships, accountability, consistency, and time.

At OneHeart, we care about how many people we serve. But we care even more about whether people are moving closer to self-sufficiency, stability, and the future they want for themselves and their families.

We don’t provide one service to hundreds of people. We help create hundreds of different pathways out of crisis. That is what makes this work challenging. It is also what makes it worth doing. Because when people are treated as individuals instead of statistics, transformation becomes possible.

Trust isn't measured by how many people walk through the door—it's measured by how many choose to stay, grow, and recommend the journey to someone they care about.

At OneHeart, every guest chooses to be here. They know they'll be met with structure, accountability, and unwavering support. And when their time with us is complete, the overwhelming majority say they would recommend OneHeart to a friend or family member.

That tells us something powerful.

It means we're earning trust by being honest about our expectations and delivering on our promises. We believe lasting transformation happens when compassion and accountability work together—and our guests' voices continue to affirm that.

❤️ Trust. Integrity. Transformation.
That's the OneHeart difference.

Celebrating Our Guests' Success
Education continues to be one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change.

OneHeart recently celebrated Victoria, whose determination and perseverance led to a major milestone—earning her GED. Victoria's accomplishment reflects not only her commitment to creating a brighter future for herself and her family, but also the power of support, encouragement, and accountability along the way. Her success story is a reminder that education is more than personal growth; it is a gateway to opportunity, stability, and confidence.

Reflecting on her journey, Victoria shared:
"OneHeart had a big impact on me getting my GED. If it wasn't for the support of my care coordinator keeping me motivated toward my goal, I don't know if I would have kept pushing myself the way I did, which led me to this HUGE success, and also the help of staff sharing every achievement along the way. They showed me that I could do it, which in turn made me believe that I could. Especially achieving this goal not only proves perseverance in myself, it also shows my son that if you work hard toward your goal, success is always possible."

Victoria's achievement is more than a diploma—it is a testament to persistence, the impact of a supportive community, and the opportunities that can emerge when someone is empowered to pursue their goals. Her success creates a stronger foundation for her family and serves as an inspiration to others working toward their own educational and career aspirations.

What does OneHeart provide? Far more than a place to stay.

Our guests receive safe housing, meals, transportation, case management, life skills support, and access to the resources they need to move from crisis to stability.

When families have the stability to focus on the future instead of simply surviving, incredible things happen. They pay down debt, build savings, earn promotions, complete their education, reunite with their children, and transition into permanent housing.

The true cost isn't investing in people—it's the cost of leaving families in crisis. Stronger families create stronger communities, and that's the transformation we work toward every day.

Help support OneHeart and be part of changing lives, one family at a time. ❤️

Why Meals at OneHeart Are Strategy, Not Charity

When people hear that OneHeart serves meals, it’s often described as merely “meeting basic needs.” That framing somewhat misses the point.
Food Services at OneHeart are not about generosity. They are about stabilization—and without stabilization, transformation simply doesn’t happen.

Hunger keeps people in crisis brain. Food insecurity doesn’t just affect the body—it affects the brain. When someone doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from, decision‑making narrows. Stress hormones rise. Planning becomes harder. Everything feels urgent.

At OneHeart, we understand that you cannot expect people to focus on employment, education, parenting, or recovery while they’re operating in scarcity mode. Consistent access to nutritious food is one of the fastest ways to reduce cognitive load and help people move out of crisis brain.

Food Services at OneHeart provide structured, predictable meals, not sporadic handouts. And that matters. Knowing that meals will be there—at regular times, prepared with care—removes a constant source of anxiety. It creates rhythm. It signals safety. It allows guests to redirect mental energy toward the work of rebuilding their lives.

Predictability is not a comfort feature. It is a neurological support.
OneHeart doesn’t just serve calories. Meals are balanced, intentional, and consistent, prepared by a professional chef who understands that food quality affects energy, focus, and mood.

In 2025 alone, nearly 14,000 healthy, well‑balanced meals were served on campus—fueling people who were working, studying, parenting, and healing at the same time. This is why food services are embedded in the core operating model, not treated as a side program.

At OneHeart, food services is a strategic intervention—one that helps move people from survival to self‑sufficiency. Because when people are fed consistently, respectfully, and well, they can finally focus on building a future.

OneHeart Provider Network: Better Together

People don't arrive at OneHeart with just one challenge—and no single organization can solve poverty alone.

That's why OneHeart was intentionally designed as a collaborative campus where service providers work together, not separately. Instead of navigating a maze of agencies, paperwork, and appointments, guests can access coordinated support through a network of partners working toward shared outcomes.

By bringing providers together, barriers are identified faster, communication improves, services are better coordinated, and people are less likely to fall through the cracks. Our partners each bring their unique expertise, but they do it as part of a team focused on helping individuals and families achieve lasting stability.

When organizations collaborate instead of compete, people progress faster, stay stable longer, and communities become stronger.

Together, we're changing trajectories. ❤️
