We are always amazed at the dedication of our volunteers both at SunCatcher and within the community! 💕🌻

This week, our beloved volunteer Hillary Vogt was awarded Volunteer of the Quarter for her commitment to volunteering with the 28th Force Support Squadron at Ellsworth AFB.

Hillary spends hours each week with SunCatcher, supporting our participants and assisting our instructors to make each session a success. On top of that, she dedicates even more time to support Ellsworth Airmen and their families. It takes an amazing person to spend so much of their time in service to others, so next time you see Hillary, tell her thank you and congratulations! ✨😁

It was this young man's first session this week, and he told us: "I'm feeling a little nervous, this is my very first time ever meeting a horse!" Seeing him interact with Joe & Sunny, though, you wouldn't have been able to tell--he did phenomenal! 🤩

It's always amazing getting to welcome new participants and watch them develop a bond with these awesome animals. 🌻💕

Good morning everyone!🌻☀️

Clancy and I are hopping on here to ask if there are some folks who would be willing to help SunCatcher run the concessions stand at the Monument on October 9th 3:30-11pm and October 11th 10:30am-4pm.

This is a very lucrative opportunity for non-profits and we're excited to have two spots for this event! However, we need 8 people per shift. If you have been wanting an opportunity to make a difference for our organization, this is it! 😁⭐

Email me at [email protected] or give me a call at 605-939-4907 if you are able to help and we will get you signed up! Thank you🙂

Happy Birthday to Zander! 🎉🥳🎈

We felt so grateful to get to celebrate Zander's golden birthday with him yesterday! He spent the session finding his birthday gift while doing some barrels, then the whole group sang Happy Birthday while we confused his horse, Ta'te, by blowing a cloud of bubbles. 🫧

Our job is AWESOME!

WOW!😮🫨

I wanted to hop on here and let everyone know that we VASTLY exceeded our fundraising goal for yesterday...and it's hard to express how much that means to us.

If you felt called to donate to continue our mission, THANK YOU. Because of everyone's generosity, we are now in an exponentially better spot financially which will allow us to keep up the momentum of our session relaunch.

Even if you are unable to donate financially, if you have donated your time, your energy, or just your love and support of our mission--THANK YOU.

There are so many wonderful directions SunCatcher can go as we continue rebuilding, but we couldn't pursue any of them without your help. Every contribution, financial or otherwise, creates more opportunities for our participants.

Welcoming folks back this week was emotionally overwhelming. It was joyful, it was exciting, and it was gratifying to see the fruits of our labors this summer. Getting to see the excitement on participants' faces as they returned made it all worthwhile, and we know that you feel the same way!

Thank you to all of our friends and community members, we exist because of you. 🌻❤️
