Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul and his family. He has always supported Pennington County 4-H anytime we needed anything at all.

The Central States Fair, Inc. family is heartbroken following the tragic events this weekend involving our Maintenance Manager, Paul Nebel.

Known to many simply as “Pauly,” he is a cherished member of our team and a friend to countless people throughout our community. Right now, our focus is on supporting Paul and those who love him.

We ask our community to join us in keeping Paul, his family, friends, and team in your thoughts and prayers. We welcome every prayer, positive thought, healing wish, and act of support during this incredibly difficult time.

We are grateful for the outpouring of concern, compassion, and support that has already been shown. As we continue to support Paul and one another, we ask for patience and understanding from our community in the days ahead.

Record Book Survey
Our Record Book Committee has come up with a survey for all Pennington County 4-H Members to complete. This will help the committee move forward with a new version of the Record Book and Recognition Guide for 2026-2027. Please take 1-5 minutes to complete this survey. It is very short and will not take you very long to complete. Please complete by May 31, 2026. Thank you in advance!!

Using the right bit for your horse is extremely important, especially when it comes to the safety of 4-H'ers and their horses. ⚠️

Our State 4-H Horse Committee has put together an educational bit video for 4-H horse exhibitors that goes into detail about different bits accepted for 4-H horse events.
