Liberty & Justice For All Liberty and Justice For All is igniting the power of the people. And, the silence of good people is even more mordant. It is 24/7 – 365 days.

There is no doubt the ongoing assault by fear-mongering members of the Republican party is corrosive and exhausting. A group of individuals throughout the state of South Dakota recognized the need to do more and formed a 501c4 organization Liberty and Justice For All to address what is begin referred to as weathering – being ground down by the fear- and hate-mongers. Liberty and Justice for All is

dedicated to calling out the arrogantly domineering and legislatively unconstitutional assault on personal autonomy, life, liberty, justice, and happiness. This work is soul-depleting and yet giving up is not an option. Connections are key to ongoing success – making connections – the work is slow and yet once folks awaken to the insanity that is unfolding in front of them they will stay with the movement. This is the work of a movement, it is not a single political party, a single person or an organization this is a movement for the soul of democracy. This work, the work of shifting this Titanic of hate, fear, and the propaganda of disillusionment is tedious. There are many challenges and one of the most pernicious is minimizing the impact of the laws, regulations, hate-filled words, and efforts. It all has a tremendous impact and must not be underestimated –

Again, thank you, everyone, for all you are doing. From defending our Native children and their families, defending the treaties, protecting our water, standing up for working moms and dads, LGBTQ, and women, to addressing the justice system, working toward safe communities free of gun violence, and finding ways to be kind to one another – all of this is connected.
