Wellfully PACC

Premier Adolescent Care Center Our residential and after-school programs have served over 8,000 youth since inception.

For over 27 years, WellFully has served at-risk youth between the ages of 9 and 17 suffering from mental health, substance abuse, and behavioral challenges. In 2022, WellFully opened a new, Premier Adolescent Care Center for youth in crisis, offering the only youth centered crises care center in the state of South Dakota.

Today, we’re sharing an important update about the future of WellFully.

WellFully is officially joining Abbott House through an acquisition that ensures our programs, staff, and mission continue strong right here in South Dakota.

This transition allows WellFully’s services to remain stable, locally led, and deeply focused on the youth and families who rely on them. By becoming part of Abbott House, we’re strengthening the foundation behind our work while preserving what makes WellFully special: our people, our programs, and our commitment to care.

For those we serve and those who support us, our day-to-day work continues with the same heart, the same purpose, and the same dedication to helping young people heal and thrive.

The clients at WellFully were given an amazing opportunity to give back to the community this holiday season! Clients were donated money with the request to pay some forward. Our clients chose their favorite charities to donate too. Thank you for giving our clients the opportunity to give back this holiday season!

Wellfully clients had a blast hanging out in “Candy Cane Lane” where they got to decorate “ugly sweaters”, got their faces painted, enjoyed popcorn, hot chocolate, and got to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause! Thank you to all our wonderful staff who made this fun event happen!

When Wellfully clients discharge successfully, they receive a blanket full of encouraging messages from the Wellfully staff. This wonderful group of ladies gather at South Canyon Lutheran Church to make these quilts. We are so thankful for this group, these quilts mean so much to all the youth that go through our program! Thank you for your wonderful generosity!

The holiday season can be a hard time for many people and take a toll on mental health. Now is a good time to check in on someone who may be struggling. These are some common signs that your family member or friend may be struggling. Know a youth who is struggling with their mental health? The Wellfully Adolescent Crisis Care Center is open 24/7 with a counselor available each day!
