Please join us in thanking the Black Hills Association of Realtors for selecting Foundations for Families of the Black Hills as this year's fundraising beneficiary and helping us provide an estimated 700 nights of safe, temporary housing to Rapid City area children and their families. The goal is to raise $15,000 to directly support program enrolled families who are experiencing homelessness.

These funds will provide safe, temporary housing where families can stay together, as a complete family unit, while they work alongside their case manager to address the root causes of their housing crisis.

When a family loses their home, children lose more than a place to sleep. They lose stability, routine, and a sense of security. Because of this partnership, more children will have a safe place to lay their heads at night while their families take meaningful steps toward a brighter future.

Thank you for investing in families, believing in second chances, and helping build stronger foundations for children throughout the Black Hills.

The Rapid City YMCA is bringing back its Summer Feeding Program, offering free breakfast and lunch for kids and their caregivers at locations in Rapid City and Box Elder from June 1 through Aug. 7. Find out where meals will be served, what times to show up, and how the program aims to fight food insecurity while keeping children fed during the summer months at the link in the comments.

Our Showered With Hope program brings mobile showers and basic necessities directly to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. More than that, it brings dignity, compassion, and connection.
