What an amazing few days Project Healing Waters Rapid City had in the beautiful mountains near Burgess Junction, Wyoming! ❤️🎣

Trips like these wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of our community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who helped make this experience so special for our veterans.

A very special thank you to Arrowhead Lodge, WY, for your wonderful hospitality, comfortable lodging, and delicious meals. You made everyone feel right at home.

We are also incredibly grateful to Operation Comfort Warrior, American Legion, and American Legion Post 240 CLUB, Militiamen VMC Mother Chapter for your continued support of our veterans and for helping provide opportunities like this that create lasting memories.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. and our Program Lead, Fred, for all the behind-the-scenes work and attention to detail that made this trip run so smoothly.

Seeing our veterans spend time together, enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains, and share laughs, stories, and time on the water is what it's all about. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this trip one to remember. We truly couldn't do it without you! 🇺🇸💙

With a heavy heart, I, Josh Osterbur, want to share that I will be officially stepping down as Program Lead for Project Healing Waters Rapid City effective August 1st.
With the help of Fred and several others, I will be finishing out our June and July events before passing the torch. After much thought and prayer, I believe it is time for new ideas, new energy, and new opportunities to help the program continue to grow and serve our veterans.
If anyone is interested in helping Fred and becoming more involved, please reach out. Project Healing Waters is an incredible program that has positively impacted many lives, and it deserves continued support from our community.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this journey since 2018. Along the way, I have met some truly remarkable people and built friendships that I will always cherish. I hope that in some small way I have helped others, just as each of you has helped me.
While this decision was not an easy one, it is time for me to focus on my personal health and spend more time with my children and family. That said, I am not disappearing—I will still be around and involved whenever I can be.
Thank you to every volunteer, veteran, supporter, donor, and friend who has been part of this journey. Your dedication and kindness have meant more than words can express.
God's speed to all of you, and thank you

Come down Thrusday night at the campus for a Tie-a-thon! Starting at 5 pm and going till at least 7:30. We will have some snacks and coffee. Hope to see you there.

Memorial Day is right around the corner, on thos days we remember all of our brother and sisters who have passed. This can be a hard day on our veterans, listen to their stories, help them honor our fallen on this day. The scars of service cannot alway
s be seen, many hide their scars. On this Memorial Day weekend, help us remember and honor our fallen, listen to our service members and veterans, be there for them.
Remember freedom is not given, it's earned, the sacrifices will always be remember in our hearts and our actions.

Help provide Veterans the support needed to continue their journey to healing. Your donation allows Project Healing Waters Rapid City program to expand its reach to Veterans in the area, providing them with fly fishing instruction, classes, and trips. You make the healing journey possible.
