We had Youth Sunday yesterday where a group of our current and future youth group kids shared about our MPYC Colorado trip, and Jr and Sr High church camp experiences. They helped lead the congregation in a couple songs and Alex Mager gave the morning message! Proud of all for sharing and Alex for working to prepare and deliver the sermon!

As we embark on our last travel day back home; thank you to our church family First Baptist Church - Rantoul for making our trip possible! We learned, laughed, shared tears and had lots of fun. We were challenged and encouraged by the words of Rev. DJ Dangerfield, had the opportunity to interact with themes of calling and belonging, engage in prayer practices, story telling and listening. Thank you to Great Rivers Region of the ABC for providing our transportation! Some insights from our worship time: Before anyone gets to label you, God spoke over you. Stop asking broken mirrors who you are. Are you HIS and do you really believe that? Everyone has to go through the fire but God will never let go! Thanks church for investing in our youth!
