Opportunity to visit India with Rotary District 6490. This is a one month travel opportunity at no cost. Consider applying. Membership in Rotary is not required...but you'll want to join if you are selected, because Rotary is AWESOME!!
Time is running out to apply for the District Group Study Exchange (GSE) to India taking place from November 17 to December 22, 2025! The application deadline is Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM, and the team will be selected by September 15, 2025.
Our team of four participants, led by Gulshan Bhayana, will travel to vibrant locations in Rajasthan, including Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Alwar, and Bhiwadi, as well as Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) and a visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra.
What We’re Looking For:
Cultural Adaptability: Ability to live with host families and adjust to new environments.
Presentation Skills: Comfortable with PowerPoint and presenting on your community, profession, and Rotary activities.
Community Knowledge: Familiarity with your local community and Rotary District 6490’s initiatives.
Commitment: Attendance at all official events arranged by the host district (no private travel during the exchange).
Physical Fitness: Must be in good health for 4 weeks of travel with a full schedule.
Team Spirit: Respect for host families, local customs, and Rotary values.
Post-Exchange Commitment: Write a report and present at the 6490 District Conference.

Wait-list Members: Two reserve members will be selected in case any team member cannot participate due to unforeseen reasons.
