"Stanton Skehan has been selected to be a 2026-2027 4-H Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador. The Texas Healthy Youth Ambassador program is designed for high school students who have a passion for health and wellness. Stanton will be traveling to College Station this weekend to attend the HTYA Health Summit at Texas A & M where he and fellow ambassadors will be trained to become youth health experts and work alongside their county extension agents to help others make healthy lifestyle changes. Stanton is excited for the opportunity to represent Upton County statewide, and is looking forward to serving his District as a Healthy Texas Youth Ambassador."

Good morning 4-H'ers. It is "Thyme" to register for upcoming 4-H Fiesta Stitch'N Thyme! This is always a fun event to participate in. With the word Fiesta, it sounds like Mexican food could be involved. Registration opens on June 15-29 for only $5. Registration will be done in 4-H Online.

Good Friday morning to you! We have 3 members that will be representing Upton County 4-H at the State Round Up this coming week at College Station. Leader Kendra Epperson will be coaching Stanton Skehan, Morgan Hamlin, and Tiana Lopez in the Food Challenge contest. They qualified to attend by placing at the District 6 show in December. We have family 4-H members that will be attending workshops throughout the week. Wish them good luck and a safe trip.

Mrs. Kendra Epperson’s 4th grade students are on the final stretch for their egg protect with Upton County Extension Agent, Raymond Quigg. Today, they took the eggs out of the turner and placed them in the incubator in preparation for hatching! They are hopeful to have baby chicks when they come back to school on Monday! 🥚 🐣 🐥
