Rangely Community Gardens The Rangely Community Gardens is a non-profit organization that was established in 2010 with its first successful growing season in 2011.

A charitable, non-profit organization striving to educate all ages about gardening, encourage community involvement, creating & maintain a community garden, and sharing with all the joys of gardening, while feeding those in need. The “Gardens” has six growing areas; (1) about 1/2 our garden's property is 26 garden plots that are leased out for families to grow your own garden , (2) the botanical

garden sets the atmosphere of the garden with a beautiful array of grass, shade and fruit trees, and ornamental shrubs and flowers, (3) the community garden area shows off a variety of vegetables that are grown organically providing fresh produce to our community and produce to feed the hungry, (4) the children's garden invites young gardeners to plant, grow and harvest their own produce and/ or flowers, (5) the permaculture orchard is an example of growing plants, shrubs, bushes, and trees in a combined setting, and (6) our pumpkin patch is very popular with our community preschool and elementary school aged kids; each kid picks out their own ripe pumpkin - FREE!
