Today is !

The holiday, which originated in Galveston, Texas, in 1865, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. This day represents freedom and justice for Black Americans and serves as an opportunity for all of us to educate ourselves about the continued impact of trauma caused by slavery.

Today, we’re focusing on uplifting Black voices in mental health by highlighting Black-led mental health organizations. We hope you’ll celebrate Juneteenth by supporting their work. ♥️

The calendar says spring, but the weather is starting to scream SUMMER!
The rising temperatures feel wonderful, but they bring some risks, such as sun burn and dehydration.

Here are some tips on how to stay safe in the hot weather:
- Avoid direct sun for long periods of time
- Apply sunscreen frequently
- Stay well hydrated
- Avoid overheating

Many medications can interact with the sun, leading to increased sensitivity to sun exposure.
Speak with your CMC provider with any concerns regarding your medications.

Enjoy the wonderful weather safely!
