Earlier this month, thousands of volunteers participated in the 56th Annual Green-Up Day! With thousands of pounds of trash, tires and debris collected from along Vermont's roadways, cleaning up our amazing state was no small feat!
Thank you to all the volunteers - including our team at our Wilder Site - who put their time and energy in to keep our state beautiful!

Clara Martin Center is honored to be chosen as one of the beneficiaries of this year's National Life Do Good Fest and their support of youth mental health in our region. Can't wait for July!

In honor of Children’s Mental Health Action Week, we want to give a shout-out to this year’s Do Good Fest beneficiaries, who are all supporting youth mental health.

💚 Clara Martin Center
💚 Community Care Network
💚 Elevate Youth Services
💚 Howard Center
💚 Spectrum Youth and Family Services

All proceeds from this year’s Do Good Fest ticket reservations will be distributed to these organizations through the National Life Group Peace of Mind Fund. The impact of your reservation will be felt across the state of Vermont, where access to mental health resources can be limited.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
The Vermont Department of Mental Health’s Mental Health Awareness Newsletter has returned, and they featured our very own Melissa Bemis! After finding her way into Peer Support through her own lived experience and training, she’s currently our Peer Support Coordinator! Melissa highlights the importance of self-care and connection, and she shows us how powerful it can be to turn life’s challenges into meaningful support for others.

Thanks Melissa, we are so lucky to have you! ❤

Spring cleaning season is here! Along with organizing closets and cupboards, take a moment to ensure medications are stored in a safe, secure space! Proper disposal of expired or unused medications is another critical step to help keep our loved ones safe.

Saturday, April 25th is the next National Drug Takeback Day! Use the DEA website to find a drop-off location near you! https://www.dea.gov/takebackday

Any other time of the year, there are many ways to safely dispose of expired and unused medication!
✅Request a FREE Medication Mail-Back envelope from HealthVermont.gov
✅Pick up a FREE Medication Mail-Back envelope at Clara Martin Center sites
✅Drop medications off at your local pharmacy

More information is available at: https://www.healthvermont.gov/alcohol-drugs/programs-services/prescription-drug-disposal

Safely storing and disposing of your prescription medications helps keep family, friends, kids and pets in your home safe from accidental or purposeful ingestion.
