πŸπŸ† CELEBRATING COACH MIKE SUK AND A RANDOLPH WRESTLING LEGACY!

Coach Mike Suk’s Randolph Athletics Hall of Fame speech was a powerful reminder of what made Randolph Wrestling one of the premier programs in New Jersey.

For 25 years (1996–2020), Coach Suk led Randolph Wrestling with unmatched dedication, building a program defined by discipline, toughness, community, and pride β€” and finishing with 360 career wins as Randolph’s head coach.

His impact goes far beyond wins and championships. Coach Suk helped shape generations of wrestlers, leaders, and teammates, and his legacy continues today.

A special part of that legacy? Former captains James Brennan (1996) and David Bruno (1999) are now back giving back as Randolph Youth Wrestling coaches, helping lead the next generation the same way Coach Suk once led them. πŸ’™

That’s what Randolph Wrestling is all about β€” legacy, mentorship, and community.

πŸπŸ† FROM RANDOLPH YOUTH WRESTLING TO TWO-TIME STATE CHAMPION!

Patrick Dattalo’s 2026 Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame Speech celebrated the teammates, coaches, friendships, and lessons that helped shape a champion.

From his Randolph youth wrestling roots to an incredible 43–0 undefeated freshman season, Patrick used that success as a springboard to one of the greatest varsity careers in Randolph history!

πŸ† 2x NJ State Champion (2001 & 2002)
πŸ† 2002 State Outstanding Wrestler
πŸ† Undefeated Senior Season (38–0)
πŸ† Career Record: 91–4

Patrick reflected on resilience, discipline, and sacrifice, including an important lesson from former teammate, mentor, and captain David Bruno, now a Randolph Youth Wrestling coach.

His message reminds us that champions aren’t built alone. They’re shaped by coaches who believe, teammates who push each other, and a community that stands behind them.

πŸπŸ† FROM RANDOLPH YOUTH WRESTLING TO STATE CHAMPION!

A walk down memory lane with 2000 State Heavyweight Champion and 2026 Randolph Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Ali Hakim! 🀼

Ali’s speech was about so much more than winning a state championship. It was about legacy, brotherhood, friendships, and community.

He reflected on the incredible wrestlers and teams that grew up together in Randolph’s youth program and pushed each other to become part of some of the greatest teams in Randolph Wrestling history.

He shared the adversity of growing up in the shadows of his superstar older brothers, Timmy and Sam, and finding the belief to forge his own path.

But what stood out most was the credit he gave his teammates β€” their talent, technical excellence, dedication, and the brotherhood that made those championship-caliber teams possible.

πŸ’ͺ Champions aren’t built alone.

They’re built by teammates who push each other, coaches who believe, families who sacrifice, and a town that stands behind them.

Ali may have won the 2000 New Jersey State Heavyweight Championship on his own, but his speech reminded us that the victory belonged to an entire wrestling community.

His brothers. His teammates. His coaches. His family. His town.
