Thanks to Shri Hemin Patel & Vishal Patel of Maruti Solaris Infrastructure for providing us place to host the event. We also thank to Prapti Mehta, CKB Group, and N H Engineering for sponsoring the event. Amul very heartly provided snacks and drinks to the participants. Nearly 80 students of Bhaikaka University, Karamsad volunteered for the event. We also thank to Principals of schools and colleges and Institutions which helped us collect items which were distributed. Thousands of families donated items via school students. More than 500 students and their families got benefit of getting more than 12000 items in exchange of SMILES. We thank again the mentioned supporters and sponsors, and VNC's Volunteers for making this event a grand success.

Charotar Crocodile Count, is one of the VNC's flagship programs, a citizen science initiative wherein individuals from across, India and now from abroad participate in the exercise of counting mugger crocodiles in the Charotar region of central Gujarat.

Some photos from past Charotar Crocodile Count. We invite participants from all over India to count Mugger Crocodiles found in Charotar. In a way, they learn and witness the unique relationship between humans and crocodiles of Charotar.

VNC is inviting applications from interested individuals to participate in the upcoming 10th Charotar Crocodile Count 2023, which is scheduled for 6-8 January 2023.
This is a citizen science program, initiated to contribute to the population data and ultimately to the conservation of mugger crocodiles in the Charotar region, Gujarat.
This could be a wonderful opportunity to observe many crocodiles in wild, learn techniques of crocodile monitoring, network with other crocodile enthusiasts and researchers, and meet local villagers who have learned to live peacefully with the crocodiles.
Join us for a unique experience of counting crocodiles for conservation.
The last date for registration is 10 November 2022.

“અર્થ મેગા મોલ”
વિદ્યાનગર નેચર ક્લબ દ્વારા વર્ષ ૨૦૧૭થી આ પ્રોજેક્ટનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. જેમાં આ વર્ષે પણ તેનું નવેમ્બર માસમાં આયોજન કરીશું. જેમાં જરૂરીયાતમંદ બાળકોને આ મોલમાંથી મન ગમતી વસ્તુઓ આપવામાં આવશે. આં ઈવેન્ટમાં સમાજના સાધન-સંપન્ન પરિવારો પાસેથી એવી વસ્તુઓ ભેગી કરવામાં આવે છે જે તેમના ઉપયોગમાં નથી આવતી. જેમાં કપડાં, રમકડાં, ચોપડીઓ, નોટબુક, કટલરી, ઘર સજાવટની વસ્તુઓનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. આ વસ્તુઓની છટણી કરી તેમાથી સારી ઉપયોગમાં લઈ શકાય તેવી વસ્તુઓની છટણી કરી તે વસ્તુઓને મોલના સ્વરૂપમાં ગોઠવવામાં આવે છે. ત્યારબાદ સરકારી શાળાના બાળકો કે જેઓની આર્થિક સ્થિતી સારી ન હોય તેમને આમંત્રિત કરવામાં આવે છે. તેઓને નિ:શુલ્ક સ્માઇલી પોઈન્ટ આપવામાં આવે છે જેનાથી તેઓ મોલમાંથી વસ્તુઓ ખરીદતા હોય તેવો અનુભવ મેળવી શકે. અત્યાર સુધી ૭૫૦૦૦થી વધારે વસ્તુઓ પાંચ હજારથી વધુ બાળકોને ઈવેન્ટ દ્વારા વહેચવામાં આવી છે.

આ ઇવેન્ટ માટે આપ પણ કપડાં, રમકડાં, ચોપડીઓ, નોટબુક, કટલરી, ઘર સજાવટની વસ્તુઓ નીચે દર્શાવેલ સરનામાં પર આપી શકો છો.
