Randolph Community Band

Established in 2009, the Randolph Community Band is a proud part of the arts community in the south shore of Massachusetts.

The group is comprised of students and professionals from all walks of life and is dedicated to fostering a sense of community. The group functions as both an additional performance opportunity for the students of Randolph as well as a new performance opportunity for all community me

mbers on the South Shore of Massachusetts. The program was established on the three following principles.

1)Exploring and performing the finest wind literature
2)Fostering a sense of community
3)Promoting musical excellence

We recently enjoyed a night of trivia at Trillium for a band social!

Interested in joining the band? We begin rehearsals for our next concert cycle on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Randolph High School.

Ron Brenner has been an instrumental member of the band since its founding almost two decades ago. He has contributed in innumerable ways both musically and behind the scenes. Last month's Dinner Concert was Ron's last performance with us as he is moving out of state.

Thank you, Ron, for your dedication to our ensemble. We will miss you as a musician and a friend.

Our Children's Concert with the RHS Band is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Stetson Hall. Come see two great concert bands performing individually and uniting as one special mega band. It promises to be a fun afternoon of intergenerational music making!

We're excited to announce our upcoming Children's Concert with the RHS Band featuring movie and video game music. Kids will learn about each of our sections through special instrument demonstrations. We're also thrilled to again be sharing the stage with the Randolph High School Band under the direction of Sean Donnelly.

Join us at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 at Stetson Hall, 6 S. Main St., Randolph.

We love bringing live music to all corners of the Randolph community. Today, we performed as several small ensembles for residents of the Simon C. Fireman Community. NEW this year, we're adding a fall performance! Celebrate Halloween a few days early with a concert featuring seasonal songs spanning multiple musical genres that are sure to please ghosts and humans alike.

The spooky fun begins at 7 p.m. Oct. 29 in Stetson Hall, 6 South Main St., Randolph.
