HUGE shout out to our amazing Head Start staff, their families, and community members who came together to help complete our Angel Tree this year.

This was our largest Angel Tree, we completed 32 families and served 87 family members. We absolutely could not have accomplished this without all of you who helped!!

We appreciate your time, effort, and dedication to providing an amazing holiday for our Head Start children and families!

It is my pleasure on behalf of the Regional Consolidated Services Board of Directors to announce the "Regional Consolidated Services Humanitarian of 2025 is…. Elizabeth Mitchell". In her very last year, as Executive Director of United Way, she ensured life improving services were provided to more than 51,000 Randolph County residents. By providing support to not only Regional Consolidated Services, but also Communities in Schools, the Partnership for Children, 4-H Club, Family Crisis Center, Kintegra, Boys and Girls Club, Christian United Outreach Center, and many others. This allowed the organizations to support citizens in their time of greatest need.

This service exemplifies the mission of “Helping People Help Themselves.” A huge Thank You to Elizabeth, for all she has done in the past and continues to do for Randolph County!

ℹ️ Did you know that socks and undergarments are among the items most needed by children, yet they are the least donated? It's essential that our youngest learners have access to NEW, WARM, CLEAN SOCKS and UNDERGARMENTS—basic necessities that foster comfort and confidence. 🧦🩲
