Message from one of Deanna’s Girls:
Hello Foundation. I’m Paige; The manager of the Deanna’s Lyric Foundation’s social media page. Mr. Green and I use to run this page together before his passing.
I do want to apologize to anyone who waited on an update of Mrs. Green funeral. I hope everyone who could attend was able to. Not only was the funeral during the holiday season, but I personally haven’t been able to return back to the page. The funeral was beautiful but Mrs. Green’s passing was extremely hard to process. Grieving has no time limit but today I did want to take the time out and say HAPPY Heavenly BIRTHDAY to Mrs. Green. Thank you God for the 64 years we were given with her. Her Birthday was January 15th,1959.
I love you so much. We love you so much. I know it’s not the same and I know you would want us to come out of the dark. It’s just feels unbelievable that you’re not a phone call away.
Me and the other ladies will continue the birthday dinners as best as we can. But we will miss your laughter,hugs, and motherly advice. You we there as all of us were hitting milestones in our 20’s and 30’s. Babies, weddings, graduations, and more. I know you’re at peace and glad to be with Deanna and Mr. Green but I wish you were still here. All 3 of you left a legacy that impacted many of us. We will also give Tony as much love and support as possible. We never wanted to or could’ve replaced Deanna but you and Mr. Green gained 8+ daughters.
We Love You Nancy and You will always be in our hearts.
