The USO Center aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier has been renovated and is officially re-opened!

These spaces serve as a home away from home for thousands of sailors.

Here, they can step away from the pressures of deployment for a few moments of quiet and comfort, read a book from the library, or refuel with a snack or a cup of coffee.

For the sailors and aviators who spend months deployed at sea, these spaces provide more than just amenities. They offer a place to recharge, to connect with loved ones and to find a sense of home while serving far from it. With this re-opening, the USO now has 23 USO Centers aboard U.S. military aircraft carriers, destroyers and amphibious ships, with more on the horizon — all made possible by the support of the American people.

Another amazing example of a nonprofit's work to .

Military Warriors Support Foundation's Transportation4Heroes program was able to help former U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Brandon Berhow-Goll start a new chapter after donating a payment-free vehicle

Along with Wells Fargo and other strategic partners, they were able to enroll Brandon in their two-year financial literacy program as just another example of organizations coming together to give back to heroes who have given so much to our country 🇺🇸🇺🇸

So inspiring! Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation's Chief Impact Officer Odie Van Opdorp had the privilege of surprising Marine Scholar applicant Isabella Smith with the news that she had been selected for the Foundation’s highest scholarship award!

One of just three students nationwide to receive this distinction, Isabella was awarded a four-year, $20,000 a-year scholarship to help pursue her dream of attending UNC Chapel Hill. As a first-generation college student and daughter of two Marines, her story is a powerful reminder of the impact that educational opportunity can have on a military family’s future.

Congratulations, Isabella! We can’t wait to see all you accomplish as a Marine Scholar!
